Soul-felt Vows at Gorgeous Golf Course Wedding

 Wow...the depth of vulnerable, soulful personal vows exchanged by Alana & Zach at Las Posas Country Club in Camarillo were so beautiful and moving!  Truly a match made in heaven, Love manifested under a beautiful blue August sky on a green golf course, with the mountains in the background. Met at 16, Married in 70's!

 It was so lovely marrying this couple who had known each other all their lives, each married/widowed for over 40 years in the interim.  San Ysidro Ranch was magical with fairy lights, a roaring fire, and the preceding ceremony by trickling water and roses on the lawn. Kerosene lamps and lovely florals by Scott Hogue completed the romantic reception setting. The dinner was intimate and delicious!  So happy for this lovely couple, who split their time between their homes in Tampa, Florida and Birnam Wood, Montecito. Love Prevails Over Darkness

 I felt so bad for my amazing couple, whose MOXI wedding was scheduled for March, with all vendors lined up for a super fun wedding...then one week before the wedding, MOXI had to shut down due to the pandemic. This sweetheart of a bride (and her groom) had such a lovely attitude during this challenging time...and yesterday we "tied the knot" so they could have their wedding ceremony.  We will do another fun wedding at MOXI next year. Love does overcome darkness... and this difficult time made them realize more than ever how devoted to one another they are.  It was very moving for me to see how moved they were! And the frosting on the cake: about 20 dolphins leaping right behind the ceremony.. magical!  ...

Wedding Guest Accolades

  One of my lovely couples had to reschedule their Paso Robles Wine Country Wedding due to covid.  They eventually decided it was important to have the wedding ceremony they had dreamed of, albeit in a different location and date, opting for the groom's father's garden in Irvine, Ca.  It was a good reminder that love is resilient, and the vows and coming together in love is what it is all about.
